About the event

An introduction into botanical ink making and experimental mark making. Learn the ancient process of making oak gall ink and the colours hidden in the natural world around us. We will make our own bamboo quills and experiment with different mark making and drawing techniques using the inks we have made.  All materials are included and you will leave with your own bottle of ink, quill  and of drawings. This workshop is suitable for everyone who is curious to learn!

Run by Naomi Hannam – ‘I am artist, educator and nature based facilitator. My work centres around weaving connection between land, community and creativity. I work with the abundance of nature to celebrate beauty, play and creativity.’ Workshop costs £105 including all materials and tea and coffee.  

Lunch is available from Potager's cafe or you can bring a pack lunch.
